The mission of PLANDEX is to provide comprehensive and innovative solutions in the field of truck superstructures, production of truck trailers and truck semi-trailers. To emphasize this mission and modernity we were asked to design a new sign,visual identification and the Book of Sign.
We presented a few selected projects to the owners. The process of final grinding of the perfect version took quite a long time and what you can see here is a perfect synthesis of the expectations of all parties involved in the design process. The “less is more” principle worked perfectly in this case.
Design of the sign we started with the idea of conveying it in the simplest possible way as much as possible. Due to the use of the target sign in a small form on the client’s product, mainly truck construction. We emphasized the letter “x” which is associated with a road crossing and adding an additional arrow to it which enhances the impression of multi-directional and multi-functionality.
The form of the logotype is based on modified lettering, slightly inclined to the right which emphasizes the dynamism of the product’s potential. We stayed with a similar color as the previous sign intense red to which we add the navy blue color.
The entire logotype presents a dynamic, modern form in an intense color, complemented by a characteristic arrowhead. We strongly believe that this sign will represent the best possible way their products.
In creating process of the visual language we focused on a strong color, non-obvious layout of individual job offers and geometric typography. We limited ourselves to two colors and white, complemented by silver foil refinement.
